We believe in a world where every child has equal access to safe surgery
Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.
That doesnt seem like such a big ask. Every child has a right to life and that shouldnt be taken away by an injury or illness that can be easily fixed. Children who battle cancer and undergo chemotherapy shouldnt get to the end of that process only to be denied the surgery that will offer them the chance of survival. Children who break an arm or a leg shouldnt live the rest of their lives in disability.
Babies who need simple procedures in the first hours of life shouldnt be left to die, and children born with urological conditions shouldnt be denied an education because they cant access the simple operation they need.
Understanding and analysing global health governance is a key component to this works success. We believe that global health is broken, and change is urgently needed if we want to achieve the health- related targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the ultimate purpose of Health for All.
