Where You Come In:
KCF Technologies is seeking participants in many areas of study to contribute to our high-performing teams as part of the Future Innovators Internship Program . This 10-week, full-time paid program June 5 August 11will take place at our KCF Headquarters in-person, or remotely, depending on where home is for you and what your position is. With our work from home, work from anywhere policy, the choice of where to work is yours for most of our roles!
Our home base is our headquarters in State College, PA, but you will find KCF Teammates spread across 26 different U.S. States with our flexible remote model. We give you the autonomy to define how and where you do your best work!

We will be evaluating applications from mid-September through early-November.

Essential Functions:Work alongside and provide support to the finance and accounting departments.
Prepare and maintain internal accounting documents and records
Research, track and address accounting or documentation problems and/or discrepancies
Prepare bank deposits and general ledger postings
Reconcile accounts as part of the month-end closing process
Assist with month end closing process by entering invoices for accounts payable and assisting with the closure of billing and accounts receivable.
Provide aid and support to company personnel
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor and other KCF leadership staff

Qualifications:Currently enrolled in Finance, Accounting, or other related program as at least a 2nd year student
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal & written
Ability to start an assignment or project from scratch and drive to completion
Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful and inventive
Highly motivated, self-starting, and independent thinking habits in a team environment
Insatiable thirst for learning
Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for numbers
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
Data entry and word processing skills
