Photo Stylist

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative stylist to perform editorial and white silhouette photography across all product categories for our e-commerce listings and marketing material. The ideal candidate has a strong fine art background to help support our thriving arts and crafts brand.

This person will set standards and aesthetic vision in photo styling and image composition. Our ideal candidate is an expert in resource planning, workflow, and problem-solving complex styling challenges and a keen crafter. This position involves working with an exciting array of product types: soft goods, arts and crafts, home décor, stationery, tools and hardware, party supplies, and small business solutions. We are looking for a stylist who can collaborate with studio leadership on the effective use of props and resources and has a firm grasp of the creative process.

Job Responsibilities:
Style and prop white silhouette and lifestyle photography for all Juvo Plus channels, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Ebay, and Bed Bath & Beyond
Prepare arts and crafts products through painting, model building, crafting macramé, tie dye, and other projects as necessary
Attending pre-production meetings to assess prop needs and creative direction for imagery
Manage a large volume of product as it travels from pre-production to outbound
Assist in the building of sets
Product preparation, including styling, arts and crafts projects, and food prep; steaming, polishing, and other tasks as needed
Shopping and prop runs using your own vehicle; may require returns and shopping after hours
Track receipts and prop spending
Catalog props and equipment
Maintain and reorder studio supplies as needed

Required Qualifications :
A professional portfolio that demonstrates expertise in various arts such as: painting, crafting, jewelry making, modeling, and sculpting
Professional styling experience in a commercial still life photography studio for e-commerce
Specialized, advanced product styling abilities, especially in food preparation/styling, set design, and arts and crafts
Understanding market trends, visual composition, and the art of aesthetic presentation
Exceptional eye for detail
Knowledge of commercial studio workflows
Working knowledge of Mac computer platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and under tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience tracking sample inventory
Creative problem solving

Physical Requirements:
Stand and/or walk during shifts
Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts
Engage in full dexterity of both hands and wrists
Able to lift 30 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a high-volume commercial studio
Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of workflow, including prioritization, planning, and task delegation under tight deadlines
Demonstrated experience working on multiple tasks at varying stages of completion under tight deadlines
Experience in e-commerce; Amazon marketplace is a big plus
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Monday, Asana, or Basecamp
Proficient in industry tools: Cricut, sublimation press, wood burning, calligraphy, painting, and drawing
