Puffy is looking for a talented and self-driven Junior Web Analyst to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in building analytics solutions that drive our company’s business decisions. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis, reporting capabilities and monitor performance to identify potential site improvements.
To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Analyze acquisition performance from marketing datasets, in order to produce actionable insights and recommendations
Work with large datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, and behaviour patterns
Acquire data from primary and/or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems – design, build, enable and maintain reporting dashboards, as well as other tracking tools and stories
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Support Senior Data Analyst and Head of Analytics with Analytics activities utilizing Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other reporting, heatmapping, and AB testing tools
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics or other relevant majors.
1 – 2 years solid experience in Bit query software products
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
