The USAID-funded Clean Cities Blue Ocean (CCBO) project in the USA, implemented by Tetra Tech International Development, is currently accepting expressions of interest for Junior Solid Waste Advisor. This position will be located in Ambon, Indonesia.
The Junior Solid Waste Advisor will analyze the Solid Waste Management Cost of Service and Landfill Improvement of Ambon City with the help of Solid Waste Advisor.
Responsibilities:
* Approach Relevant Local Agencies in Ambon City to obtain relevant Solid Waste Management Service Cost Data
* Approach Sub District and Village Government in Ambon City to gather relevant Solid Waste Management Service Cost Data
* Assist CCBO in calculating Solid Waste Management Service Cost
* Assist CCBO in analyzing landfill improvement
* Assist grantee in Ambon City in achieving their CCBO target
* Assist Environment Office in Ambon City to support CCBO activities
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in any field.
* At least 5 years’ SWM experience in Ambon City.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
* Comfortable being self-directed and working independently and/or as part of a team.
* Ability to understand and interpret waste related legislation and governance in Indonesia.
* Experience developing and implementing SWM and 3R project and action plans at local governments and community levels.
* Experience working with SWM actors in Ambon City.
* Resident of Ambon City are encouraged to apply.
