We are looking for a Junior Manager Public Affairs (m/f/d). This position can be filled remotely in Germany or the Netherlands. However, we are also happy to welcome you in our office in Cologne or Sevenum if you would like to do so.

Your tasks:

  • Support the Director Public Affairs and the Senior Public Affairs Manager Germany in their public affairs activities;
  • Support meetings with decision-makers to actively advance Redcare´s objectives and interests;
  • Monitor topics and issues relevant to Redcare Pharmacy at European and national level, including the legislative environment;
  • Prepare advise on relevant topics and take a proactive role;
  • Represent Redcare Pharmacy towards the European institutions and associations at conferences, workshops and meetings;
  • Prepare meeting documents, presentations and talking points;
  • Write and edit position papers and press releases;
  • Administrative tasks, such as support in the preparation and implementation of events.

Your profile:

  • Fluency in English and working proficiency in German are required. Dutch or French would be an asset;
  • Master Degree in political science, European Studies, law, health science or comparable course of study;
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in the political arena
  • Knowledge of the political institutions and processes of the European Union and the 7 markets in which we are active;
  • Willing to travel a lot
  • Passionate about (digital) health policy, internal market policy, digitalisation policy and e-commerce policy;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; self-propelled but also a team-player;
  • Excellent writing and oral presentation skills;
  • Experience in professionally using online social media is advantageous;
  • EU citizen or existing EU work permit.
