Tasks
- Implementation of Kubernetes environments based on Bare Metal or IaaS platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, VMware, OpenStack)
- Write Application & Container build manifest files and Helm charts for custom solutions
- Support in the automation with CI/CD pipelines as well as the automated deployment of environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Setup and configuration of monitoring & logging solutions
- Creation of relevant content for customers and interested parties about your own field of activity (e.g. professional articles, blog posts, conference presentations)
Requirements
- Successfully completed university studies in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, physics or similar
- First Kubernetes and/or Container experience (CKA/CKAD certification is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of distributed systems, storage, backup & recovery, scaling and performance optimization
- Understanding of agile methods and the SRE philosophy
- Practical experience with observability tools
- Very good communication skills in English and German, willingness to travel
