Junior Java Developer

Infosys is seeking Junior Java Developer. In this role you will contribute to the implementation of the Software Development lifecycle activities from development and testing to implementation and support activities as per project plan. You will develop code, create artifacts like test specifications, perform testing and implement relevant go live activities. The work location will be anywhere in the U.S and/or remote. This position may require travel and/or relocation to the project location.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• Experience in Java/J2EE technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Java/J2ee Technologies.
• At least 1 year of experience in MS Excel, experience in Lead technical analysis.
• At least 1 years of experience in Product Analysis, Design and Development and Executing Test cases.
• At least 1 year of experience in Python.
• At least 1 year of experience in software development life cycle.
• At least 1 year of of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Knowledge of RDBMS Databases.
• Experience in being the part of Agile team and follow agile methodology.
• Analytical skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
