Junior Content Editor (Spanish Speaking)

We are recruiting for a Junior Content Editor to join our Network Team and work in the International Channels genre pod. As Junior Content Editor you will conceive, produce, and post best-in-class social media content across our portfolio of brands on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and new and emerging platforms. You’ll also help to nurture and engage our audiences across multiple brands and platforms.

The role of the Junior Content Editor requires being able to edit videos in various formats and lengths, create quality thumbnails and graphics in Photoshop, and write SEO optimised titles, descriptions and tags. As a fluent Spanish speaker, you’ll be working within our new International Channels genre pod on a number of new and growing brands.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

• Video editing on a daily basis and creation of images/designs to be posted to YouTube and social media platforms
• Work with the Programming Manager to conceive and execute the absolute best social media content across a number of brands in Spanish.
• Copywriting and optimisation of content to maximise performance and engagement.
• Creating bespoke video thumbnails (i.e. images on Photoshop according to platform best practices).
• Uploading to a schedule as set out by the Programming Manager, including applying thumbnail and metadata, as well as applying any necessary Usage Policy and Custom ID

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

• Fluent Spanish speaking
• Proven video editing experience using Premiere Pro or similar
• Proven experience using Adobe Photoshop
• Knowledge of Social Platforms and their use of video
• Knowledge of different file formats
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent grammar and spelling
• Creativity and initiative – we value your input and ideas!
