As a member of our team, you will have the chance to play a critical role in the development of our next generation Warehouse Management System , which is responsible for handling the delivery of millions of products to our customers. You’ll be working alongside a group of talented engineers to create innovative solutions for managing orders, products, physical entities and Business Processes as well as tools for workforce management & optimization of the workflow within our warehouses.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

• Actively participate in each stage of the development cycle – implementation, testing and operating your code in an agile environment.
• Play a role in the design, development, and deployment of the systems which are used by thousands of colleagues in our fulfilment centres and help to reliably ship millions of orders to our customers all over Europe.
• Continuously ship high quality testable code and build reliable systems. Support and Consult others teams in the department to build new automation and processes.
• Iteratively test features with stakeholders while keeping the big picture in mind.

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

• You have some experience with JVM-based languages like Java or Kotlin and knowledge of building RESTful API’s and Event-driven services.
• Knowledge in design principles and patterns, data and API specifications, quality assurance, and testing methods
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
• As we are working with infrastructure based on Kubernetes, some experience of utilizing the tools is a bonus.
• Experience in data structures, Relational Databases, and Experience with NoSQL Databases is a plus.
