Our client is a growing retail company based in New York City looking for a Junior Accountant with basic accounting experience to join their growing team.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$60,000 – $65,000
Position Overview
The Junior Accountant will need to have the basic accounting foundation who is willing to learn and grow within the company. The Junior Accountant will perform bank reconciliations and data entry. Accounts Payable experience is preferred but is not required.
Responsibilities Of The Junior Accountant
- Basic Accounts Payable duties including invoice processing
- Assist in quarterly audits as well as monthly month-end closings
- Analyzing reports and research for team
- Work closely with Finance team
Qualifications For The Junior Accountant
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
- Experience in retail or ecommerce accounting is a plus
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
