Job Title: Manager – Stores (Raw & Packaging Materials) Division: Supply Chain – Warehouse Country: UNITED ARAB EMIRATES Work Location: UAE (RAK head office) Job Type: Manager Employment Type: Full Time Employment (Un-limited Contract) Job Description: Purpose: The Manager – Maintain RM (API, Excipients & Hazardous) & PM (Primary, Secondary & Printed Packaging Materials storage and issuance in the warehouses. Ensure workplace health, safety, GSP & GMP requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock while monitoring inventory levels according to the company. Performs effective materials management and compliance of federal, state, and international Ministry of Health (MOH) standards. Key responsibilities & Accountability: Operations Management
Accountable for cGMP compliance of various SOPs, maintaining Good Warehousing Practices, validation schedules as per set standards & compliance
Performs stock verification, cycle counting and inventory taking as per the requirements. Stock accuracy is one of the responsibilities and any stock discrepancy must be reported to the manger with justification

Support in ordering of raw and packaging materials required from the planning department in timely manner.
Compares actual stock levels and system inventory report to avoid any misleading
Check and keep stock of the material for production and packaging departments.
Prepare receiving Report of the materials and ensure all the materials are stored in orderly way and as per the written procedure (SOP).
Ensure that materials are quarantined, tested, and released as per the written procedure and stored accordingly.
Responsible for the safety aspect of the staff and to ensure that only approved procedures are followed, Implements of health and safety (EHS) procedures within the warehouse for the security of stock, people and other infrastructure.
Control the personnel movement in/out to the restricted areas. Printed Packaging material store, Rejected store, cold store.
Communicate with Purchase Department for any issues related to Release of LPO or inbound delivery quantity entry wrong.
Prints temperature & RH trends related to site of work & follows up with HVAC Department to handle alarms & deviations
Generates reports for near expiry, slow moving & obsolete items to liquefy them and avoid disposals.
Issue (Material Issue Voucher) for the batch after checking against Daily dispensing plan or dispensing sheet.
Responsible to provide training to new store staff.
Work on Ample logic system for any CAPA, Deviation & Change control required Maintains the required documents, records, and files them securely.
Update raw & packaging materials locations on the system according to information collected by store staffs.
Monitors different storage conditions and assure that materials are stored properly
To co-ordinate with other department related to daily activities like Production / QC / QA / Engineering etc.
To interact with different department and external agencies / vendors for technical matters as per the need of the business
Performs physical stock taking on a perpetual basis and ensure stock accuracy
Ensure proper evaluation and improve the technical and administrative system followed in the department
To ensure the products are produced and stored according to the appropriate documentation in order to obtain the required quality standards
Supervise stacking and storage of goods and maintain safety measures to preserve goods. Ensure safe material movement from warehouse /loading and securing in the truck/container
Revises overdue SOPs & update them as per current practice. Ensures compliance of SOP’s related to stores
Make sure the availability of required space within warehouse for the storage of quarantined & released materials.
Makes necessary arrangement within warehouse for the management of sensitive items and Controlled items.
Pro er distribution of manpower and available resources as er requirement in all areas
Responsible for any other job allocated by the Department Head People Management
Ensure that the required initial and continuing training of the department personnel is carried out and adapted according to the needs of the Organization in coordination with HR and training
Define an optimum organization structure for the function, so that resources are optimally utilized and communications can be executed in an efficient manner.
Review and ensure that operational and administrative practices, policies and procedures across the division are being followed by all employees Qualifications: – Education
4 years Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or any other related field. – Experience:
At least 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain in Pharmaceutical / Medical industry
Knowledge of best practices, business processes and modern warehousing systems
Insightful understanding of Regulatory, Quality, Compliance requirements for Pharmaceutical industry
Fluency in English is mandatory
Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
Proficient in MS office, strong in MS XL & related tools for analysis – Training: Key Competencies:
In terms of competency you are highly result oriented with strong sense of accountability & ownership.
You must have excellent understanding of Pharmaceutical Business, must be able to work under pressure, plan departmental workload effectively and delegate.
Must possess strong time management skills
