JOB SUMMARY:
The International Operations Coordinator will perform all functions related to the shipment of International orders, including preparing documentation packages for international shipments and ensuring shipments are correctly processed. The International Operations Coordinator will be responsible for performing other warehouse tasks and maintaining updates for all said bookings and communications to our offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Its functions are the following, however, they are not limited to:
Work on the assigned loads by the broker on the TMS.
Verify the availability of containers prior to pick-up.
Tender the drayage movement to an authorized carrier.
Verify the carrier received the Work order from the broker.
Set pick-ups and delivery appointments if necessary.
Monitor, pick-up, transit, delivery, and empty return of the container.
Verify final charges for the movement with the carrier and inform the broker if there are any discrepancies with the TMS.
