Job Description

GMED Healthcare BVBA is the European Trading and Distribution Company for all goods of the Hospital Medical Devices (HMD) sector of J&J, running a network of Distribution Centers and the related in and outgoing material flows. As part of the MD Global Supply Chain, GMED is a central entity that owns all goods and handles financial flows related to European distribution for HMD EMEA and affiliate deliveries from Europe to rest of world.

This is an important position within the GMED Finance Team that reports to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and is the team leader for the forecasting, reporting & analytics ensuring relevant business partners and customers needs are being met. It is also responsible to coordinate, prepare and present financial results to senior management for both actuals and forecast cycles.

The role requires collaboration with other GMED Finance Groups, GS Team, HMD regional EMEA, Corporate team and Supply Chain (SC) Finance. It is a key position which provides a phenomenal opportunity to consolidate financial knowledge, talent development and business exposure.

Job Duration

Permanent contract – Full time.

Main Responsibilities
Team leader responsible for processes or responsibilities in the areas of forecasting, reporting, and analytics within one or more of the below areas:
Intercompany GP – System SGP
Franchise and Sub franchise P&Ls (owner of allocations process)
Forecast & Latest Thinking cycles across the financial documents
Operating Expense, and SG&A
Freight (inbound and outbound)
Mentor, lead and develop 1 – 2 direct report(s).
Leads and coordinates closing and reporting process for corporate actuals reporting for GMED.
Chart of Accounts and leader of its governance and standardization.
Build annual true up for sourcing companies following company tax operating model rules.
Deliver standard forecast and performance reporting and analytics, using latest J&J Enterprise technology to consolidate and interpret data for insights.
Preparation of internal Leadership Team review files for Monthly Performance, formal Forecasts, and Latest Thinking’s.
Assist in budget management to aid business partners in meeting financial commitments and optimizing investments.
Build and presentation of financials to management and Business Partners to aid efficient and valuable decisions.
Balance sheet forecasting/consolidation for Leadership review in partnership with A2R Team.
Active support and lead with applicable projects impacting GMED’s FP&A group.
Use existing capabilities and technology enablers to drive automation and improvement in execution.

Qualifications
Strong analytical & technical finance or accounting skills
Communication, partnership, influencing with strategic mentality
Proficiency in English is required
Technology proficiency in MS office (Strong MS Excel skills are required), TM1 and JDE 8.12 / SAP is preferable but not required
Problem solving, Mentality of Innovation and continuous improvement
