Your challenge
As a JavaScript Developer, you work according to the scrum methodology. We believe in an integrated approach, where every team member is involved in all steps of the software development life cycle: analysis, architectural design, programming, and maintenance. We expect you to be the proud owner of your code, and take responsibility for it.
You will use your HTML, CSS, and Javascript expertise to find the best possible solutions to build the plug ins that we need to further extend our Business Intelligence (BI) solution.
You Are Responsible For
- Creating new UI plug-ins used within our BI solution.
- Discussing and validating functional requirements with our functional analysts.
- Collaborating with our UX/UI designer to deliver a pixel perfect UI component.
- Ensuring excellent aftercare and driving future extensions, maintenance, and debugging, even after setup at the customer.
Your team
As our new Javascript Developer, you’ll be part of a large, fast-growing, international Product Development team located in Belgium (Antwerp, Ghent, Wavre), Spain (Barcelona), Ukraine (Lviv), and the US (Atlanta). Software Development creates leading software solutions that make a difference to our customers. We make smart, robust, and scalable software to solve complex supply chain planning challenges.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- Javascript bootcamp or a similar track.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, CSS, HTML5.
- Knowledge of modern patterns such as ES Modules, and reactive and functional programming.
- Experience with browser developer tools for inspecting and debugging issues.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or similar.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the following technologies and frameworks:
- nodeJS
- React
- Typescript
