Role Overview
In the role of a Java Backend Engineer, you will be working in a team which is responsible for our E-Commerce Payment Platform.
This Platform is used by merchants to easily process online payment transactions and supports a wide selection of payment methods the merchant can choose from.
In this role you will help to develop, enhance, and maintain our platform.
What you will do
- Integrate new payment methods into our payment platform
- Create or integrate clients communicating to third parties
- Adding new features to our payment platform
- Develop, enhance, and maintain our payment page
- Develop and maintain our Server-to-Server APIs (JSON)
- Write Unit- and Integration-Tests
- Design and help with the architecture of new software components
- Improve our framework (refactor, generify, and simplify the code base)
- Code Reviews
- Deploy new versions of our Products
Who you are
We search a passionate developer who is willing to not only complete task after task but also enjoys to bring in her/his own ideas to improve the quality of our products.
You are a team player but also able to independently solve problems and implement tasks.
What you will need to bring to planet
- You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or in a related field
- Strong knowledge in Java (3+ years of experience)
- Experience in application development with a modern framework (for ex. Spring)
- Experience in Git, Maven, Relational Databases
- Ability to design reusable and robust software components using best practises
- High quality awareness
