SEED Madagascar

Position Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity to assume an important role at an award-winning international development charity, shaping and improving IT services throughout the organisation. Working closely with the national IT Officer based in Fort Dauphin, Madagascar, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT, with a particular focus on cybersecurity.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to come up with innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to problems. As our main office is located in Madagascar, access to IT equipment and other supplies is limited, often with a long lead time between purchasing and receiving goods. As a small charity, our budget for IT is limited, and the internet connectivity of our Fort Dauphin office also.

This is a remote working position, with flexible hours estimated at 6 hours per week, but this may vary according to the needs of the organisation and availability of the individual. Due to the nature of Systems Administrator roles, during critical periods or emergency situations, the role may require additional flexibility.
