We are a customer centric tech start-up in the Sports and Digital Entertainment industry who are passionate about bringing communities together across the African continent both online and through our agency operations br Since launching our first product in 2018 BetKing we have accelerated our growth to meet demand all whilst hiring an incredible team of Makers Creators and Innovators across Africa Europe and the Middle East br There has never been a better time to join our Kingdom than today br The Role br Have you ever thought of joining a hyper growth start-up that s redefining its industry Look no further We are one of the fastest growing companies in our sector using innovative technology and solving the hardest problems to bring African sports fans an unrivalled digital sports entertainment experience online offline 24 7 br As a Senior IT Support Engineer at KingMakers you will be enabling our teams to work in the most efficient manner possible by helping them solve their IT… problems As the first point of escalation for Service Desk tickets you will be an expert in resolving a variety of hardware and software-related IT issues br With the Company growing so rapidly in multiple locations we are pushing the boundaries and constantly evolving our IT ecosystem collaboration and productivity tools so there will always be plenty of change and new challenges to address br What you will be doing br Ensure incidents and IT requests are resolved with the stated SLA br Provide IT support for end-user hardware such as desktops laptops phones printers and other peripherals br Provide IT support for end-user software including Windows MacOS O365 and other software applications br Onboard new users in the Kingmakers domain with all accesses and work tools br Participate in planning of deployment of projects involving network and Enterprise Applications br Provisioning of laptops desktops and phone to the Kingmakers domain br Install and upgrade OS Applications on computers phones and other devices br Maintain IT inventory and manage delivery of IT assets br Deep dive on incidents and problems to properly diagnose and provide permanent resolutions including documenting and sharing root causes br Evening and weekend work required periodically and rostered on call availability br Handle patch management and ensure that all devices and applications have the latest update according to agreed policy and roll out strategy br Monitor and report failures in the WAN and LAN network and take corrective actions br Promptly escalate unresolved issues to the relevant specialist br Create user guide on commonly used application and contribute to Kingmakers IT knowledge base br What you need for this role br A Bachelor s Degree enhanced with technical training and certification or equivalent br At least 5 years hands-on experience providing IT support in a high-demand dynamic environment br Strong knowledge of ITIL methods and practices br Demonstrable experience of personal and mobile device management frameworks and tooling br Great understanding of modern security practices for IT hardware and software for Windows Mac and mobile devices br First class skills in supporting and troubleshooting LAN and WAN and related protocols and technologies i e TCP IP FTP VoIP web etc with experience of setting up IT office infrastructure from ground up including hands-on configuration of Access Points routers and switches br Advanced knowledge on O365 Windows OS macOS and Linux OS br Good understanding of cloud technologies preferably Azure but potentially AWS or GCP br Comfortable administrating O365 including advanced knowledge of Exchange Online br Comfortable working with wireless printers layer 3 switches and servers br Experience in delivering high quality customer focussed services and IT support to senior stakeholders in an organisation br Who you are br Excellent Troubleshooting skills br Able to work without supervision and make sound decisions independently br Sound communication and written skills br Able to withstand long period of troubleshooting br Possess excellent customer service skills br Time conscious individual br Strong passion for the IT industry br Looking for long term career in IT br Proven track record delivering exceptional support experience to customers and senior stakeholders br High level of integrity and discipline br Beyond our great company benefits and competitive salaries we recognize that to grow sustainably and thrive positively we need to engage the right talent because our people are a merit to our success We have an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive and where everybody has a seat at the table br So what are you waiting for Click apply and join our Kingdom today br
