By applying for the IT & Strategy Talent Program you can become one of 23 talents working towards that goal. Each of the 23 positions in the program is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges. This is a two-year program with a strong focus on your development. You will have an individual development plan aiming at a targeted competence profile after two years and building blocks with learning goals towards that target. As part of the program, you can look forward to assignments/rotations providing you with opportunities to deliver tangible value.
Your role as a RPA Engineer
Vattenfall IT is an international unit within the Vattenfall Group. As a full IT service provider, our aim is to be among the best of the best when it comes to economical IT services and intelligent solutions. Our range of services extends from process and application support to the implementation of software and the operation of application systems – both in our own data centers and in the cloud. Our Vattenfall Robotics team provides professional IT services for robotics process automation. For this position you will become part of the Vattenfall RPA IT Competence Center. The focus is on the one hand on the efficiency of our IT solutions and on the other hand on the satisfaction of international Vattenfall customers. We support the digitization of Vattenfall companies through process automation and enable them to increase overall performance, efficiency and productivity as well as to reduce costs..
Your daily activities:
As an RPA Consultant, you will be enthusiastic about the automation of business processes as well as maintenance of the productive automation apps (bots). Your goal is comprehensive professional advice, state-of-the-art development and support along our service level agreements and the associated guidelines of the RPA platform. This platform -based on UiPath software- is embedded in our highly automated and integrated IT landscape. Your work is therefore shaped by an international IT and customer environment.
- Consultancy of our Vattenfall Business customers for process automation requirements and opportunities
- Automation Solution design
- Development of RPA apps – also combined Intelligent Process Automation Solutions (ML, LP, OCR, etc.)
- Implementation of solution
- Project management
- Maintenance and support for productive bots
Who are you?

- Graduate, or up to two years’ work experience
- Strong background in IT (software) engineering
- Keen to ‘learn by doing’
- Able to handle a steep learning curve
As a RPA Engineer you recognize yourself in the following:
- Focused on IT technology (experience in RPA Software UiPath and/or MS Power Automate is a plus) with a strong understanding that all we do is about people and our customers
- Passionate to deliver top notch digital user experience for our customers
- Willing to continuously learn new things, regardless whether it is a new programing language or the discovery of new cloud services
- Experience with software quality, software testing, CI/CD and/or build pipelines as well as agile/SCRUM methodologies (nice to have)
- Some basic German language skills (nice to have)

Location
You will be working in the department of Invoicing & RPA at Customer IT Germany and the location for this position is Berlin or Hamburg (Germany)
