You will translate the business objectives into a practical IT roadmap to assure the successful execution of Finance IT initiatives, ensuring project performance is on-schedule, in the required quality and within budget. You will provide oversight and direction to the IT delivery aligned to each project. IT Indirect tax team scope includes multiple countries across the globe.
How You Will Do It
- Cooperate with architects to advance our technology blueprint and ensure alignment on specific standards (Security, Data, Network, etc)
- Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state, lead overall solution architecture, scalability, and integrity
- Coordinate and facilitate the research, evaluation, and selection of hardware and software solutions, related standards, as well as the design of standard configurations
- Influence partners, team members, and peers to craft and deliver efficient solutions in line with the best interest and expectations of the business
- Coordinate improvement review sessions with the business collaborators going through all their enhancement requests helping them prioritise all demand
- Maintain a professional culture within the team, where individuals take ownership and focus on delivering excellence, quality and value for the customer and business
- Promote resilience and responsiveness in the organization by being open and transparent about challenges, and the actions required to address unexpected developments
- Participate in training design, documentation, and delivery efforts
- Work with the finance organization to manage statements of works and invoicing comparing to the available budget
- Keep up to date with the latest technology, software development technologies and methodologies
Required
What we look for
- 4+ years experience in service delivery or application management
- Experience in managing multiple relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal, analytical skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Able to translate IT language into business language
- Capability to handle cross-functional tasks in parallel
- Skill for independent work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or a related field
- ERP (Oracle, SAP) finance technical/ functional knowledge
- Indirect Tax, AR, AP, e-Invoicing
- Government Tax regulations
- Understanding of database (database maintenance + automatic data imports)
- Oracle, SQL, Postgre
- Knowledge of the following applications/ technologies: MS Dynamics, Appian, JavaScript, C#
