As our company grows, we are looking for a dedicated person to fill the new role of IT Service Portfolio Manager.

The IT Service Portfolio Manager is responsible for defining and continuously refining the Adfinis portfolio, that is, our standardized service and product offerings. They carefully curate the portfolio, drive its development, and ensure its alignment with current and future customer needs as well as long-term business objectives.

Tasks

As an IT Service Portfolio Manager you will be a hands-on creator and innovator, actively shaping the portfolio in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as the professional service team, sales and marketing. Acting as a single point of contact, you coordinate all portfolio-related activities within the organization.

Your tasks and duties will include:

  • Create and maintain the portfolio framework (i.e., service and product offerings)
  • Track, plan, and review tasks and activities in the portfolio backlog
  • Regularly review both active and upcoming portfolio items
  • Create portfolio-related assets (e.g., campaigns, white papers, fact sheets, quote templates), trainings, and standards for internal stakeholders (i.e., delivery, sales, and marketing)
  • Develop market-ready offerings that address market needs or customer pain points, based on information from internal stakeholders and partners (vendors)
  • Manage, implement, and continuously improve the portfolio process

Requirements

Must-Have Hard Skills

  • You have 2-5 years of experience in an IT service environment.
  • You have knowledge about service lifecycle management, service design, and best practices for service delivery and support.
  • You can design, maintain, and optimize a service catalog, defining service offerings, SLAs, and pricing structures.
  • You can identify and anticipate market trends, business cases, and customer decision-making processes for different industries.
  • You have at least a B2 level of German and English, preferably C1.

Must-Have Soft Skills

  • Planning and Organization: You set goals, establish workflows, monitor progress, allocate resources, and manage risks.
  • Customer Engagement: You identify customer needs, address their requests, utilize their feedback, develop customer-centric solutions, and shape positive customer relations.
  • Stakeholder Management: You identify important stakeholders, maintain engagement, handle their requests and feedback, balance interests, and uphold mutual agreements.
  • Coordination: You assign tasks and link them to objectives, integrate individual contributions, monitor and maintain progress, and establish a proper flow of information.
  • Collaboration: You contribute to team efforts, work toward shared goals, provide and seek help, and build rapport with team members.

Nice-To-Haves

  • You are interested in Open Source principles and enterprise solutions.
  • You have knowledge of quality management principles and industry-specific compliance requirements (e.g., ISO standards, GDPR, TISAX).
  • You understand budgets, cost structures, and financial performance of IT services.
  • You have knowledge or are willing to learn about the features, unique selling propositions, and added value of our partners’ products.
