We are currently recruiting for an IT Projects Support Analyst / PMO Analyst to join our team on a 6 month maternity cover contract.

Sitting as part of the IT Assurance and Risk team your role will undertake assurance across all National Trust projects that have an IT element to them.

This is an exciting role because of the wide variety of projects you will be involved in, at present there are over 40 IT projects in-flight at any one time.

What it’s like to work here

We’re bigger than you think, we’re more complicated than we appear and we’re larger scale than you’d imagine. We’ve got passionate people in all our teams, and we’ve got so much more we want to achieve. We’re for ever, for everyone and we really mean that. We don’t want to stop at 5.5 million members and we want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy access to our places, so we need to reach new audiences in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them without losing the hearts and minds of those that are already with us.

What you’ll be doing

Working at part of a team you will be responsible for the assurance of around 10-15 IT projects varying in size, type and complexity.

You will review core project documents such as highlight reports, business cases and RAID logs to ensure that quality standards and process are being followed correctly and will be able to spot any risks and issues that need to be escalated more widely.

Given the rapid pace of change in the IT department, it’s crucial for us to keep our processes both up-to-date and efficient. To achieve this, we prioritise collaboration with our key stakeholders and actively seek out their feedback to continually improve our practices as needed.
