Our direct client is looking for two IT Portfolio Analysts to support two different portfolios: (1)Accounts Payable/General Ledger and (2) Partner/Tax/Retirement Plans team .

The IT Portfolio Analyst partners with the appropriate business stakeholders and the Senior IT Portfolio Manager to prioritize and create project roadmaps for all data management capabilities including data warehouse, data governance, and analytics efforts. With the business and IT teams, they maintain a set of institutional knowledge of what is working well across the firm and what needs improvement.

We are looking for three IT Portfolio Analysts to support three different portfolios: (1)Accounts Payable/General Ledger, (2) Client Accounting and (3) Partner/Tax/Retirement Plans

This portfolio works with our partner accounting, tax and retirement plans teams and assists with implementing any programs or projects related to partner compensation. Applications are primarily in-house custom applications. Most of the work involves vendor relationship management and working with internal stakeholders to understand business needs. Candidates must be able to think outside the box and approach tasks methodically and possess the ability to visualize what will make sense to the end user when utilizing applications.

Requirements:

Ideal profile (in general):

• Experience as a business analyst or project manager with generally at least two years experience. (For senior at least 4 years)

• Experience communicating with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicating them to developers/vendors and/or IT; able think quickly, ask the right questions and propose solutions. Our Portfolio Analysts must be comfortable being very hands on during a project and understand that they won’t just provide high level oversight.

• The team is generally open to those with general BA experience with a few “nice to haves” listed under each individual portfolio.

Education and/or Experience: Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

• Proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred:

• Experience with Accounting or Finance applications, or related business areas

• Experience with database administration or relational databases and tables

• Experience with creating and maintaining Functional and Technical Specification documents, wireframe mockups/diagrams, test cases/plans, and defect/bug fix management

• Experience in current technology trends

• Jira, Service Now, and Software Development Life Cycle knowledge

• Law firm experience
