Muzun for Humanitarian & Development (MHD) is a civil society and Non-profit organization registered in Turkey, Gaziantep since 2015.

The NGO was founded by professional humanitarian workers engaged in the Syria response. We come from the communities affected by the conflict. We have set up this organization in order to support fellow Syrians with relief and non-relief assistance to maintain their under-pressured resilience and help them cope with the challenging conflict environment. In our work we focus on the most vulnerable including persons with special needs, children and women. As a grassroots organization, our work is community-led and therefore owned and sustainable. We have presence across Syria. MHD operates in Syria’s Northwest.

Providing humanitarian and developmental services and assistance to the most vulnerable communities of displaced people and residents inside Syria and neighboring countries, men, women, and children to reach a Syrian civil society capable of facing the circumstances and involving them in the decision-making process and influence in its.

About this position:

The IT Officer is the primary point of contact for staff experiencing IT system and application issues. In this role, they will address problems, document and monitor user requests, and ensure satisfaction through proactive communication and prompt follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive network support, including software installation and assistance.
  • Manage and maintain network-related malfunctions, fix technical and programming problems facing employees, and install necessary crisis programs.
  • Maintain various IT devices, including printers, wireless access points, switches, and routers.
  • Perform regular installation and updates of Windows, software, and antivirus.
  • Manage cloud IT, ensuring accurate records are kept of all assets.
  • Maintain and optimize constrained user environments based on network policies.
  • Document, track, and follow up on all IT issues, including cybersecurity incidents, malfunctions, and equipment changes.
  • Troubleshoot, track, and follow up on incidents until their conclusion.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on newly deployed technologies.
  • Ensure strict compliance with IT and cybersecurity policies and processes. Support and apply all PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) principles and demonstrate a high commitment to reporting any SEA actions.

Qualification

  • University degree in information technology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Experience in IT (1-2 years) with I/NGOs.
  • English language upper intermediate, Arabic is a must
  • Ability function at a high capacity within a collaborative organizational structure.
  • Maintain high confidentiality
