
Sened Organization
Job Purpose:
• To ensure Sened’s IT infrastructure works properly.
• To build, develop, maintain and ensure proper execution of Sened’s IT policy.
• To provide necessary assistance, support and maintenance when IT issues occur.
Key Activities/Tasks/Duties:
• Ensure the stability and effectiveness of technical services (Wi-Fi – network infrastructure – software – maintenance) in all offices.
• Provide the necessary technical support for the staff in daily use of office applications
• Request and prepare the needed technical equipment for the work.
• Monitor backups and ensure availability for all data and servers.
• Participate in departments process development and suggest technical solutions that support the process.
• Implement all IT policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Document system configuration setup and changes.
• Deploy and implement office network according to specifications, including switches, access points, firewalls, and Network Area Storage (NAS).
• Identify and resolve problems in the network.
• Triage, prioritize, and troubleshoot staff support ticket requests.
• Support and troubleshoot users in the office on their daily work.
• Supervise installations performed by third parties such as cabling, Internet connection, etc.
• Supervise and follow-up on equipment maintenance performed by other contractors.
• Implement and enforce security on the network and prevent misuse of the IT resources.
• Responsible for IT inventory and support office inventory signaling; work closely with the procurement team to monitor distribution and location of IT equipment by performing a yearly inventory check-up.
• Keep IT equipment healthy by applying all required security patches and monitoring the correct delivery of all antivirus updates.
• Provide training to project staff on best Internet security practices.
• Monitor use of IT systems and Internet service to ensure staff are getting optimal service at all times.
• Supervise the implementation of ERP System.
• Implement and document a disaster recovery plan and offsite storage of backed up data.
• Other related tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Note: the above mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.
Required Qualifications (Education/Languages/Work Experience)
A. Essential:
• BA in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Networking.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position.
• Advanced skills in the English language.
• Turkish Nationality.
• Priorities will be for people with disabilities or their families.
B. Desirable:
• Experience in humanitarian work and principles.
