Job Description
The role of the IT Infrastructure Engineer is to keep all services running smoothly, including scaling our systems horizontally and vertically as needed to deliver service to our internal & external customers at all times.
Primary Job Roles Are
- Creating, managing, and building Docker containers and scalable Hybrid Kubernetes environment (from scratch)
- Managing Linux and windows environments
- Develop process, security, and monitoring in On-prem and Cloud Environments
- Improve Governance & Incident response time in Container’s platforms
Job requirements
B.Sc in Computer Science or Secondary education with 3-5 years’ professional experience.
Certifications in Kubernetes, Linux (RHCT, RHCE and LPIC), Azure would be an added advantage
Specialist Knowledge
- Deep knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, and other systems
- Familiarity with Ansible a plus
- Hands-On Experience with KVM/VMWare and SAN management and concepts
- Hands-On Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Containerisation platforms
- Expert in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting, YAML
- Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
