The Oaks Academy is searching for an analytical, problem-solver who thrives in a community where relationships come first to join the Information Technology team. With over 1,000 students and 200 faculty and staff at three locations, the IT Team is critical to ensuring that day-to-day learning continues without technological disruption, and supports staff in large-scale technology needs.
The Help Desk Analyst provides support for basic incident resolution and requests submitted by faculty and staff. Responsibilities include initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of basic incidents and requests regarding the use of application software products and/or infrastructure components. An understanding of basic applications and software knowledge is required; however, a desire to learn more complex applications, technology and terminology, as well as customer support processes and techniques, is prioritized.
This is a full-time, salaried position (starting at $36,500) with PTO and benefits (medical, dental, vision, life) available.
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent in Information Technology, prior experience supporting customers in use of application software preferred
- Competency in MS Office Suite.
- Some travel to local campus locations (less than 5 miles) occasionally required
- Devout Christian who is a member of, associated with, or seeking to be associated with, a Christ-centered community of faith or a church
