This is a full-time (40 hours/week) paid hybrid internship that will begin on June 5, 2023 and conclude on August 4, 2023.

Job Summary And Scope

As an IT Automation Intern, you’ll provide support to our RPA (Robotic Process Automation) team by creating, designing, developing and implementing RPA systems. This position will use software to create and automate high volume, repeatable tasks such as queries, calculations, and maintenance of records to improve the business’s processes and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with defining the manual processes and rules currently being used in various departments and locations
  • Learn how to effectively create and utilize the use of RPA tools such as Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, AI Builder, Power BI, Canvas Apps, RPA Automation Anywhere, UiPath, etc.
  • Learn Cloud and DevOps concepts – Azure, Azure DevOps
  • Map, translate and configure various automated process solutions
  • Assist with testing to ensure the accuracy of RPA implementation
  • Develop, update, or maintain system/technical documentation to measure the effectiveness of automations
  • Attend and participate in team meetings about strategy, design and implementation
  • Follow up with internal team members to provide feedback and see problems through to resolution

Qualifications/Knowledge & Experience

  • A rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, computer science, statistics, engineering or other related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Understanding or experience with RPA automation tools such as Microsoft Power Apps / Power Automate, RPA Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, Softomotive, Kryon Leo, WorkFusion, etc.
  • Understanding or Knowledge of Cloud and DevOps concepts.
  • Knowledge of the principals, methods, and techniques used in programming SQL and application development
  • Experience with coding skills of Microsoft .net, Java, Python, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work with large amounts of data and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills – both technical and non-technical
  • Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people to balance demands
