JOB SUMMARY
JOB PURPOSE:
supporting and assisting in the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of health programs. include tasks such as data collection, analysis, and reporting, involving all program-procurement processes as well as collaboration with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
Scope of the Role:
The Health Program Associate has a pivotal role, responsible for associate with implementing, coordinating, and evaluating health programs. Key tasks include data management, program procurement support, following up on the health facilities supported by Islamic Relief, and collaboration with healthcare professionals and community stakeholders. The position requires diligence, dedication, adaptability, effective communication, and strong analytical skills. The associate’s contributions significantly impact the success of health initiatives, promoting community well-being.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
- Monitoring the health Operations and in the health facilities:
- Oversee and monitor health staff workflow in the health facilities
- Ensure adherence to human resources standards and guidelines in the HFs -recruiting, apprising, following, and other HR duties- for the medical staff.
- Report to the program department and assist in following health project activities, and reporting to the program team. Should work within the Program Management Act, Municipal policies and procedures, and in compliance with all Islamic Relief Acts and Legislation.
- To assist in the health projects implementation inside Syria.
- To assist in conducting the related needs assessment monitoring and evaluation for the implemented project or any other project if required.
- To assist in receiving, organizing, sorting, and recording the health items.
- To coordinate with the local partners/targeted locations.
- Delivering the items under the health programs to the targeted sides.
- To deliver the shares to the targeted locations.
- To assist in all aid’s items tracking.
- To compile the beneficiary’s data.
- Communicate & report on security or regulations when needed.
- To keep a record of all project documents.
- To carry out other responsibilities and duties as requested by the line manager
Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications
• University degree business Administration
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in the health field.
• Practical experience in health facility management at least three years
• Strong communication, interpersonal & technical skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to take initiative if required.
• Ability to multi-task effectively as well as display professionalism and confidence.
• Ability to work under pressure, with short time frames, and in risky situations.
• Able to visit and network with health facilities in inaccessible areas inside Syria
Language
- Arabic Native Speaker
- Good English language
IT skills
- Very Good computer skills.
- Proficiency in the internet and search tools.
- Proficiency in MS office (Excel and word are a must)
