Primary objectives

  • Develop and configure AutoPlant/AutoCad Design Systems to be utilised in the Project group
  • Work with the project and sub-contractors to ensure that contractual AutoPlant/AutoCad system requirements are met.
  • Carry out AutoPlant/AutoCad QA program.
  • Monitor assigned projects works for efficient AutoPlant/AutoCad execution.
  • Optimize the use of AutoPlant/AutoCad.
  • Liaison with all parties using Design systems for consistency of set-up, use and delivery
  • Active member of the Design Systems group ANZ and AMEA virtual team
  • Active member of the Bentley and AutoDesk C.O.P.’s

Specific Accountabilities

  • AutoPlant/AutoCad Applications support.
  • Work on or coordinate new applications developments and enhancements in accordance with drawing office practices.
  • Inform users of potential problems and program bugs.
  • Maintain master log of Applications Software enhancements, bugs, and fixes.
  • Coordinate user testing of new software and upgrades.
  • Provide demonstrations of AutoPlant/AutoCad systems capabilities including coordination of discipline specific presentations and support for related program presentations by other disciplines.
  • AutoPlant/AutoCad project setup and security requirements definition with Engineering Manager, Discipline Leads, and Systems Manager.
  • Coordinate input to material group.
  • Transfer of data between AutoPlant/ AutoCad and other systems.
  • Maintain log of Applications Software enhancements, bugs, and fixes; input to the central log and distribute.
  • Integration with 3rd party design, detail and visualization software if required
  • Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance System
  • Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures

Essential Skills / Experience

  • AutoPlant/AutoCad Design Applications support.
  • Diverse knowledge of AutoPlant/AutoCad & graphics applications.
  • Design system specialist
  • Demonstrated management of a multi-discipline AutoPlant/AutoCad design environment.
  • Proactive team member.
