People Partners (Bordeaux)

This team is taking care of our employee relationships and career development. Talent Acquisition Intern Missions:

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing the best talents in Europe for all jobs excluding Tech.
  • Advertise our jobs, improving quality and ensuring IT respects our brands guidelines.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in activities such as scheduling, organizing events (Career Fairs), and Employer Branding.
  • Contribute to quarterly projects to structure our processes, up-skill our teams and deliver top-notch candidate experience.
  • Work hands-in-hands with the People team and the Business to generate the best-in-class People strategy.
  • Maintain our applicant tracking system (Lever) and our Talent Acquisition database up-to-date.

Employer Branding & Diversity and Inclusion Intern Missions:

  • Have a hands-on learning experience to support employer branding and D&I initiatives.
  • Join in strategic planning sessions to identify needs, challenges, and solutions to enhance our employer brand.
  • Work in a role that provides direct and immediate impact to our company’s growth.
  • Assist in executing the corporate employer branding and recruitment strategy to attract a diverse and full pipeline of job candidates.
  • Pull data to gain insight into talent attraction initiatives for improvement opportunities.
  • Learn and demonstrate an understanding of our employment brand, which expresses the company’s unique voice and its impact on candidate experience within our talent markets.
  • Help facilitate people-focused content creation for multi-channel distribution, including areas of thought leadership, recruitment marketing assets and social channels.
  • Support the creation of talent attraction initiatives that are role and geography specific.
  • Keep up to date with latest HR trends, use new and creative ways to find and engage our people.
  • Share, learn and work hand-to-hand with the People team to generate a best-in-class people strategy to support our business.

People Partner Intern Missions:

  • Being the main Point of Contact for Interns and Apprentices by working on onboarding & offboarding, organizing meetings mid-internship / apprenticeship period to make sure the internship is aligned with expectations and can possibly match with a job opportunity, by liaising with our recruitment team.
  • Supporting the People Partner team in their daily work and launching HR projects, coordinating training matters, working with our HR Information System, helping trial period follow-up, amendments, termination paperwork and generating ad-hoc analysis & reporting.
  • Keeping up to date with latest HR trends, use new and creative ways to find and engage our people.
  • Sharing, learning and working hand-to-hand with the People Partner team to generate the best-in-class People strategy to support our business.

You’re in the Right Place, if You :

  • Had first-hand experience in similar roles before – internships, student associations or volunteering – anything !.
  • You’re looking for a 6 month internship.
  • English is a no-brainer for you, French is required for Talent Acquisition & People Partnering roles.
  • You understand how to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple offices, culture and remotely, by also managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines simultaneously.
  • You are organized, with great attention to detail, feel very confident in your analytical skills.
  • You have strong communication skills, easily connect with others and have a natural tendency to care for people.
  • You are empathetic and enthusiastic and can easily adapt to any situation.
  • Relevant skills/tools : Social Media management, LinkedIn, Canva, Glassdoor, HR Information Systems, Excel, Recruitment platforms, LinkedIn.
  • How can I best prepare for the interviews?

Research. There’s blogs, there’s social media accounts, there’s a lot to discover and, believe us, that information will not go unnoticed in the interviews.

Practice. It’s not a secret that a question “please introduce yourself” is something that will be the start of many interviews and this is surely something you can prep for, it will ease your stress!

  • How do I know which team I’ll be allocated to? Which city?

Some teams are based in Paris, some in Bordeaux, therefore, it depends on this. You can share your flexibility in the application. Paris office (199 rue Championnet 75018) & Bordeaux office ( 123 Rue Lucien Faure, 33300). The offices are brand new & top-notch, I promise you 🙂

  • What is the application & recruitment process?

The application is straight forward – you attach your CV and answer some filtering questions. You choose the language you prefer to use in the conversations, except the initial call with HR. The rest of the process:

  • 30 min HR call with the recruiter (in English);
  • 48 hours to work on a technical test;
  • 30-45 minutes interviews (one of couple) to meet the team & evaluate your skills and cultural fit
  • Is the internship paid? What else is in the package?

Yes, indeed, the internships are paid. You also get meal vouchers, 6 days off throughout the 6 months & support for public transport expenses. And some discounts on Back Market’s platform, bien sûr!

  • How are the interviews conducted?

Phone call with the recruiter and then video calls (we use Zoom!).

  • How are you dealing with the pandemic?

We coordinate the capacity of our offices to be careful & respectful to the national recommendations. Currently we are coming 2x/week to the office & constantly adapt to whatever the latest recommendations are. Internships cannot be full-remote (unless absolutely necessary due to the pandemic).
