Internship working student – Medtronic Integrated Health Solutions

• Are involved in numerous consulting projects (e.g. process optimization projects in operating centers)
• Support all team members with analyses and data evaluation, after familiarization with our tools.
• Independently conduct research on current topics and prepare it in MS PowerPoint
• Support the project team on-site at customer locations, e.g. in conducting trainings or process analyses (~1-2 days per month)
• Contribute to the creation of customer presentations, e.g. by translating content from English into German

Location

Depending on the development of the Covid-19 pandemic, you will be working from the home most of the time. The equipment needed for this will be provided.

If you are interested in supporting project teams on-site at the customer, this is possible. Lecture times will of course be taken into consideration.

Medtronic and your studies

As a team, we regularly supervise bachelor’s and master’s dissertations. If you are interested, we are sure to find an interesting topic for you within the scope of your work.

Hours: 20 hours per week during the semester, in the semester break the number of hours can be increased upon agreement.

• Ongoing studies in business administration, health economics or similar fields of study (at least 3rd bachelor’s semester or completed vocational training in a relevant field)
• Very good IT skills (especially advanced with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and ideally MS Power BI)
• Fluent German as well as good written and spoken English skills
• Interest in working in the department for a longer period of time (> 1 year)
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
• Openness, flexibility and resilience

Nice to Have

• Initial experience working with databases and business intelligence solutions such as MS Power BI
• Basic knowledge of health economics
• Initial experience in management consultancies or other health care companies
• Medical background, e.g. nursing education

You are welcome to complete an internship with us for 2 to 3 months and then work 2 to 3 days a week as a working student. We offer high work time flexibility and currently home office is also possible.
