YOUR TASKS:

Kepler Cheuvreux Solutions is seeking an intern to help develop its strategic dynamic business. We have the ambitions to strengthen our leading position on this product segment and improve customer service. We intend to achieve this by improving pre-trade (advisory and proprietary strategies) and post-trade (reporting, analysis, execution) capabilities.

As an Intern on the strategic dynamic desk, you will be an integral part of our trading floor operations and work closely with various teams. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Product Issuance Assistance:
• Collaborate with the desk to facilitate the issuance of new products ;
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of transaction specifications ;
• Select the optimal configuration for new products ;
• Prepare documentation for product issuance
• Trading Support:
• Assist the desk in executing trades across various asset classes, including equity, ETF, bonds, structured products, futures, and options ;
• Work closely with traders to ensure smooth trading operations.
• Operational Tasks:
• Support the desk by assisting in the booking of trades and related operational tasks associated with the strategic dynamic business.
• Analytics Tool Enhancement:
• Collaborate on improving and enhancing analytics tools used by the team.
• Generate reports from these tools to provide monitoring and decision support for strategy managers.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Engage in daily interactions with various teams including structuring, sales, and strategists ;
• Foster effective communication and collaboration to achieve common goals.
• Interactions with Banking Partners:
• Engage with banking partners such as US banks (Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley), French banks (BNP Paribas, Societe Generale, Natixis), Swiss banks (UBS, Luzerner Kantonalbank, Julius Baer), and others ;
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with our banking partners.

YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS:

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Student from a top-tier engineering/programming school or at a top-ranked university ;
• Fluent in English and French (is a plus) ;
• Strong interest in client relations and communication ;
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail ;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills ;
• Ability to work independently and in a team ;
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach ;
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) ;
• Knowledge of financial analysis tools.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
