***ABOUT DIÁLOGO INTERCULTURAL MEXICANO A.C.***

Since 2015, DIME has consolidated a successful model in the reception and integration of refugees to the higher education system in Mexico. Since then, the organization has welcomed refugee students from Middle Eastern countries (Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria) as well as from the Latin American region (Venezuela, Honduras, Nicaragua, and more).

Today, DIME implements 5 programs: the Habesha Education Program (Habesha Project and Habesha Americas Project), Habesha Media, the Welcoming Universities Communities Program and the U.S. Mexico Border Legal Clinic Program. All projects are aimed at creating new life opportunities for (young) refugees and at generating positive change within Mexican society, towards the integration of the refugee community.
