INTERNSHIP – Product and Project Management

The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) applies cutting-edge technology to operating a reliable electricity system, managing competitive markets for wholesale electricity, and planning for the Empire State’s energy future. The NYISO invites applications for a full-time summer intern on the Product and Project Management team.

This intern will be responsible for assisting in technology evaluation of the product and project management group for increased collaboration functionality. The intern will be responsible for documenting some of the manual processes currently utilized by collaborating with Product Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts, identifying areas with the highest risks for errors, difficulty of collaboration, and general inefficiencies, and evaluating technology that the NYISO already owns to determine whether or not manual workflows could be automated and efficiencies can be gained. The intern will also document alternative workflows and provide demonstrations to Product and Project Managers.

• Current enrollment in Business or Information Technology Degree
