Responsibilities

As part of our strong Customer Success Unit team, Customer Engineers help Microsoft customers to deploy, optimize and adopt the technologies they have invested in. If you are passionate about talking to different stakeholders on the customer side, learn about the customers business and help them achieve their goals, than the Customer Engineer role is a fit for you.

With a strong technical background CEs deliver workshops, trainings, troubleshoot technical issues, conduct chalk talk sessions, share best practices and connect customer stakeholders to experts of the Microsoft organization.

We are specifically looking for talent in the solution area Modern Work, which is the Microsoft 365 technology stack with a focus on Microsoft Teams. Modern Work, Hybrid Work, Flexible Work models, enables organizations to effectively work and collaborate together and ultimately drive customer success. Microsoft Teams evolved as a powerful platform which is able to combine standard functionalities like chat, calling, conferencing and collaboration with business processes.

Extending this platform to the customer needs with the help of Power Platform or 3rd party applications is key to transform the way people will work. We are still getting started unleashing the value of the platform for our customers.

As CE Intern you are the technical enabler for our customers journey to the new ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivates relationships and credibility through strong technical delivery, implementation, remediation, migration, and supportability and ownership.
  • Develops rapport with customers and the virtual account team (VAT) to manage customer expectations and realize customer business objectives.
  • Identifies trends in customer and partner technical implementations and communicates delivery opportunities to local stakeholders.
  • Get to know the company and the role as well as a technical understanding of leading edge technology and trends
  • Works closely with employees from various organizational levels at the customer to fully understand their technical needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or have completed bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with at least one quarter/semester remaining to complete after internship.
  • Demonstrated self-learner, seeks information about the underlying needs of customers, and builds customer/partner relationships.
  • Ability to explain and demo the value of Microsoft Teams and the integration of 3rd party tools
  • Basic understanding of Low-code No-Code platforms, e.g. Microsoft Power Platform
  • Professional certifications (SharePoint, Windows, MCITP, etc.) are desired.
  • Displays strong stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders, partners, and customers.
  • Enthusiasm towards leading technologies and motivation to learn and grow
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills in English.
  • Full Work-Authorization in Germany
