• 10 weeks program starting June 13th thru August 19th, 2022

Position Summary

Contracts Strategic Pricing Team is responsible for Pricing Long term customer contracts. The team is responsible to provide win probability by part to allow for competitive price confidence on new bids and result in higher win rates.

Contract Strategic Pricing Team is responsible for price and prepare large contract bids for long term contracts. Develop pricing strategy based on scope of parts, market condition, customer, region, and market segment.

Key Learning Outcomes

This project will allow Strategic Pricing team access to align to a comparative data point(s), and competitively price contract bids based on part win rate.

The intern will be responsible to collect large data sets, analyzing, combining, and calculating Quoted vs. Awarded parts.

Additionally, will be creating dashboard like reports with capabilities to slice and dice data sets by customers, supplier, costs, re-sales, and market segments into a dashboard.

This data will allow us to be more competitive, increase our win rate resulting in an increase on contract revenue.

The intern will be working with Pricing Analyst on new contract bids, process observation, identify and map out process improvement

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Junior, Senior or Graduate level students
• Must be enrolled in a 4-year Degree program aligned with critical talent areas (i.e., Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science degree program with a focus on data analytics and mining
• Business/Financial understanding. Advanced Excel preferred, SQL-Data-base, and Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) , preferred
• Ability analyze large amounts of data and report on findings
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Detailed-oriented individual
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent resident status (no H1B)
