Overview:

International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a US-based international development consulting company, is seeking an IPS to work in the Organizational Development, Technical Assistance, & Training (ODTT) group, with experience to work in our Vienna, VA home office and/or remotely. This part-time position would be available to start as soon as possible. IBTCI seeks a skilled professional who has previous experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the ODTT team including taking meeting notes and formatting documents.
    • Communication support, writing for our newsletter and website.
    • Support knowledge management for the organization, researching the global experiences from across the company.
    • Assist with sourcing experts/candidates for proposals.
    • Provide proposal support including requests for information, project research, etc.
      Format resumes.
    • Create personnel biographies, program tables, etc.
    • Prepare communications materials for IBTCI office/field staff and website
    • Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy files.
    • Any other duties as assigned.
      Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Work experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Able to work with Google Drive style knowledge management.
  • Good writing, research and organizational ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Oral and written fluency in English required.

Education: BA

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous international development business development experience.
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Previous experience with international aid preferred
  • Knowledge in one or more of IBTCI’s service areas.
  • Infographics, data visualizing, charts

Working Environment: Work is typically performed in an office environment. Currently the company is allowing for remote work due to COVID 19 in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. This can be updated by the company.

COVID Vaccine status: As a condition of employment, IBTCI requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel: International travel may be required and may include travel to fragile and/or conflict-prone zones.

Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the USA
