$ 16.41 / hour

Full-time; Monday through Friday, occasional overtime; 2pm-10pm

The Job You Will Perform

Assist in set ups, running, and cleaning the printing converting equipment
Have the ability to perform the duties/responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation;
the ability to read, write, and speak English; accurately read a measuring tape and ruler; use basic shop math;
Learn and follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
Some basic knowledge of computers is needed.
Motivated individual who is capable of performing a multitude of functions
Flexible, fast-paced production environment.
Focus on cleanliness and safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity
Following all safety rules and practices
Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications.
Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders.
Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company.
Perform set up functions such as zeroing and opening/closing the machine; installing inks, and cleaning
Using available time to prepare for set ups and runs
Perform assigned clean up functions, such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding, miscellaneous scrap.
Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings
And perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

The Skills You Will Bring

At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Applicants must have a stable work history, good attendance record, positive attitude and a desire to produce quality work as part of a team.
Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.
Flexibility, proactive work ethic
Ability to read, write, use tape measure properly, use basic computer skills
Safe work attitude
