About The Role
This Internal Wholesaler is responsible for establishing, building, maintaining and growing relationships for Symetra life insurance and annuity products. You will have flexible hours, a flat management structure providing regular exposure to Senior Management, and a strong promote-from-within philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Make extensive outbound sales calls to financial advisors to broaden awareness to our products.
- Meet and exceed sales goals by selling to financial advisors.
- Set appointments to ensure External Wholesaler has appropriate number of qualified leads needed to meet monthly sales call goals.
- Meet and exceed appointment setting metrics.
- Communicate ideas, product features and benefits.
- Maintain sales team relationships through agreed-upon, scheduled call rotations.
- Engage cross-team resources to bring quick and effective resolution to sales and service issues that clients may have.
- Perform relationship recovery and problem resolution when issues arise with clients i.e. the financial advisor.

Base Salary: $50,000 plus eligibility for incentive compensation
Your Education, Experience And Skills
- FINRA SIE, Series 6 or Series 7, 63 registration required.
- Life and Health insurance license required.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years combined industry experience or one year as a Sales Support Specialist at Symetra.
- Experience with annuities.
