We are looking for a proactive, driven and committed individual to fulfil this exciting role at our Glenrothes Office. You will join our internal Housing Sales Team with two passionate colleagues.

Overview

As our Internal Sales Executive, you will be fully responsible for the development and management of the housebuilders project pipeline to deliver against defined sales volume targets, with a focus on ensuring delivery of volume and value growth. You will have the overall responsibility for proactively driving VELUX involvement in housing projects early, either by creating the possibility of use of VELUX products or being the supplier of choice where roof windows have already been identified.

Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the progression of a defined group of customers, both transactionally and proactively. You will take ownership of personal targets, KPIs and objectives to drive own success as well as overall business success while developing an effective working partnership with external Housing Business Development Managers.

  • You can take sales and customer insights and turn these into compelling ‘VELUX Because….’ narrative for the customer.
  • You have the ability to educate and influence the customer to make the right product choices

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone with first class communication skills both written and verbal. You enjoy working in a fast moving environment and easily adapt to change. You have excellent prioritization skills and are able to work on the right things, for the right customer at the right time to maximise opportunity for VELUX. You have a proactive mindset and are able to work on own initiative with little supervision.

  • A good level of basic education.
  • Competent with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Forms, Teams, OneNote, CRM systems.
  • Demonstrable track record of hands-on customer service experience in a fast-paced customer-focused environment– both face to face and by telephone.
  • Housing or construction industry experience would be advantageous
  • Experience of handling a designated project sales pipeline
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Passport
  • Ability and willingness to carry out some domestic overnight travel (as little as once a month)
  • Flexible in working from either home or office location.
