Internal Controls Manager (all genders)

The ARC unit consists of the audit, risk, internal control and compliance & integrity teams. We proactively support the TenneT organization in continuously strengthening audit, risk and compliance identification and mitigation.

Duty station for this function is Arnhem (NL), Bayreuth (GE) or Lehrte (GE). The position is permanent.

Your contribution to TenneT

In this role, you will be part of our Risk and Internal Controls team, working closely with the Compliance and Internal Audit teams.

• You develop and strengthen the Internal Control System (ICS) to support the organization’s compliance with governance and regulatory requirements and obligations
• Further you are responsible for the development and management of the ICS framework (standards, guidelines, processes and procedures), this includes:
• Regular comprehensive analysis to guarantee the inclusion of controls in all critical areas
• Regular review procedures to validate the controls’ accuracy and effectiveness and recommend actions where necessary
• Periodical testing of the automated controls implemented in various IT systems across the organization
• Implement internal control process and system improvements to increase efficiency, data quality and employee engagement as well as to reduce complexity and eliminate manual work
• Regular monitoring of the control execution status and reporting to key stakeholders
• You organize and implement trainings, workshops and consulting
• You spearhead the ICS awareness within the organization
