About the organization: A non-profit organization that provides projects and humanitarian services to the Syrian community, capable of spreading and reaching those who deserve it, with credibility, efficiency and effective partnership.

Required academic qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in accounting, auditing, or any related field.
  • It is preferable to have a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certificate.
  • At least three years of experience in the work of humanitarian institutions.
  • At least two years of experience in internal auditing.
  • Ability to direct, coordinate, follow up, initiate and develop.
  • The ability to analyze and devise solutions to problems.
  • Ability to communicate, plan and organize.

Roles and responsibilities:

Auditing:
– Conduct an internal examination of all aspects of the non-profit organization’s internal operations.

– Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control and identify potential risks.

Evaluation of compliance and financial performance:
– Examine and evaluate compliance with the organization’s internal policies, procedures and laws.

– Evaluate financial performance and ensure compliance with accounting and financial reporting standards.

Make recommendations:
– Providing effective recommendations to improve internal processes and enhance performance efficiency.
– Review and analyze reports and provide guidance for improvement.

Tracking the implementation of recommendations:
– Follow up on the implementation of the recommendations made and submit periodic reports on the progress achieved.
– Ensure that the desired effectiveness of the proposed improvements is achieved.

Cooperation with management:
– Communicate effectively with various divisions and departments to understand their needs and ensure that efforts are directed towards institutional goals.

Develop policies and procedures:
-Contributing to the development and improvement of internal policies and procedures to improve the overall performance of the organization.

Training and awareness:
-Providing training and awareness to employees about internal audit concepts and practices and its importance.
