General Summary:
ConnectWise is looking for outstanding students aspiring to become technical communicators to work in a growing software development company. In this paid internship, the Technical Communicator intern will work with the Documentation and Education team to create and maintain product documentation and education materials on the ConnectWise University. This role will assist with creating HTML emails for product releases, develop in-app messages, help with UI/UX verbiage as well as peer review content.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn to design, develop, and send partner-facing HTML emails regarding ConnectWise product releases and notifications
- Assist with updating product documentation in help authoring platforms
- Work ticket requests from internal teams and partners to update and create guides, how to articles, FAQs and release notes
- Peer review, edit, and improve education assets and deliverables

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills such as, grammar, formatting, spelling, and proofreading knowledge
- English writing skills for global customer audience
- Ability to simplify and break down complex steps and technical steps that are easy to understand
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively on documentation projects
- Knowledge on how to conduct peer reviews, give feedback and listen with empathy
- Have researching, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to help resolve tickets and requests for colleagues and partners
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Communication, or similar
- Have knowledge of HTML, CSS, and coding languages (Bootstrap are preferred but not required)
- Experience with help authoring tools or platforms (preferred but not required)
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid/Remote/On-Site depending on location
- Professional office environment
- Remote candidates will be considered who will consistently accommodate US Eastern time zone schedule
- Minimal travel may be required
