As a Product Management Intern, you will collaborate with your team to deliver on the data strategy strategy for new and existing products. You will also partner with colleagues from our recent acquisitions; Anchor Point in Boulder Colorado, the Enrich business management team and our Data Engineering team and support us in developing further product strategy.

Responsibilities

You Will:

  • Conduct market research project to identify data sources and government guidelines to support the expansion of Precisely’s Wildfire Risk product into countries outside the US and Canada (e.g. Southern Europe and Australia).
  • Compile report of analysis and present findings and recommendations to colleagues.
  • Ensure we have identified data sources and government guidelines. Identify any blockers that may impact our ability to execute our plans.
  • Support the development of a detailed roadmap and timelines for the product team.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the UK, US and Australia.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week for 10 weeks.
  • Ability to work remotely which will require a working, reliable internet connection and a quiet and dedicated workspace.
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Passionate about product management.
  • Interest in and experience of Geospatial/Location data.
  • Adept at learning and communicating technical concepts in relatable user-friendly terms.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with GIS software (ArcMap, QGIS, or MapInfo Pro).
  • Experience writing reports.
  • Familiarity with data visualization software like Tableau.
