Job Title: Intern-International Project and Proposal Support (CCG)

Department/Location: Crisis, Conflict and Governance/ Vienna, VA

Reports To: Program Manager, CCG

Type: Regular Part-Time

Classification: Non-exempt

Overview: International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a US-based international development consulting company, is seeking an Intern- International Project and Proposal Support (IPPS) to work remotely for the Crisis, Conflict and Governance (CCG) Pracitce at IBTCI. This part-time position would be available to start as soon as possible. IBTCI seeks a skilled professional who has previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research.
  • Provide proposal support including requests for information, project research, etc.
  • Provide project support including transcribing meeting notes, formatting documents and graphics.
  • Source and recruit candidates.
  • Format resumes.
  • Create personnel bios, matrices, etc.
  • Prepare project descriptions.
  • Organize and maintain files both hard copy and electronic
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months’ work experience in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized. At least 1 year of work experience.

Education: At least 2 years of college education in International Affairs, Economics, Business, English or other related area.

Working Environment: Work is performed in a typical corporate office environment.

Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that required the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Travel: No travel is required.

Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
