Report to Project Coordinator (PC)
1.Areas of Responsibility:
Support to Project Coordinator in management of A Drop in the Ocean´s overall logistics of the laundry project in camp including planning and collecting of clothes
Intern does not have responsibility other projects nor staff, and is under the direct supervision of his/her line manager, a member of the coordinator’s team
2.Work Tasks:
Quality control of Laundry service – Developing tools for assessment
Supporting PC for planning the schedule
Field work towards beneficiaries – communication of schedule and collection/distribution of laundry bags
When requested conduct needs assessments in coordination with PC related to distribution in/outside camp
Report daily to Project Coordinator
Support in monitoring WASH related issues in camp
Collecting (qualitative and quantitative) data from each project to be able to evaluate relevant projects at the location
3.Competence and Qualifications:
University education in relevant field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the refugee/humanitarian context in Greece.
Fluent in English; Greek and other context relevant languages (i.e. Farsi/Arabic/Pashto/Dari) are an advantage
5. Collaborative-relationships
The intern will collaborate regularly with PC on site and will contribute with assessments and evaluations related to PC’s projects of responsibility.
The intern will work cooperatively and ensure constructive dialogue with all volunteers at the relevant location, as well as the destination management.
6.Other:
Intern will be place on a volunteer agreement, accordingly to DiH’s agreement policies
