Overview: DT Global is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Human Resources Intern to assist our HR department with administrative and HR-related tasks. The HR intern’s responsibilities include a variety of projects related to redesigning the HR filing system and supporting events management such as the annual DT Global Day ceremony. An outstanding HR intern should be detail-oriented and able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills. This is a paid internship opportunity.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Reorganize online departmental filing system, streamline to a concise and easy to search set of files
  • Post job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms as directed by recruiter
  • Assist recruiter with scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks as needed
  • Assist in the planning of company events, such as the annual DT Global Day event and other social committee events.
  • Assist with arranging for catering and other services in support of corporate initiatives
  • Responding to staff inquiries as directed by HR team members.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Director, develop human resources standard operating procedures (SOP)s

Minimum Requirements and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or studying toward completion of a degree
  • Proven experience working in an office environment.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Must be very detail oriented and display a high ability to take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interest in human resource management or studying toward a degree in human resource management or related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.
