Intern – Demand Planning

Knowledge:

• Any project that reflects certain know-how on the role would be an added advantage.

Skills:

• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in English or other languages is an add-on
• Creative, self-motivated, organized, ability to plan and independently carrying out the job
• Results Oriented

Experience:

• Minimum one year however not essential

Education:

• Graduate in Engineering/Mathematics/Statistics or a quantitative business science preferred. Master’s degree in supply chain management is a plus.

JOB ACTIVITIES

• Establish and utilize best methods (statistical model & software tools) in creating forecasts and respective inventory targets
• Provide management with reliable and accurate information on the Forecast accuracy
• Proactively perform root cause analysis, develop solutions, and drive optimization of the supply chain
• Data analysis relating to Supply Chain activities
• Support planning team in daily communication activities with the sales team, logistics, customer service team etc.
• Assist in improvement project implementation using DMAIC approach
• Conduct feasibility study for improvement ideas suggested by other team members

Create creative presentations using PowerPoint to demonstrate improvement project results to management

Job Accountabilities

• Ensure adherence to compliance processes and guidelines specific to position’s roles and responsibilities
• To understand and adherence to the current regulatory requirements applicable to the areas of responsibilities.
• Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by QHSE policy and Manuals.
• Strict adherence and compliance towards Group HSE Charter & MAESTRO requirement and affiliate’s HSEQ Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity always.
• Participate in the safety risk assessment, health risk assessment, planed general inspections, loss control tours and other kind of audits as per the TLBU QHSE & Energy Management requirements.
• Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.
• Strict adherence to QHSE requirements with full authority to stop any operation for safety reasons
