Intern Data Scientist

Contract Duration: 6 months extendable to 11 months

About The Team You Are Joining

Reporting to the Senior Data Scientist, the Intern Data Scientist will work within the Data Science team and support the technical implementation of cross-divisional data science solutions to use cases that span across multiple business areas. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, and data analysis techniques.

What Your Day Would Be Like

Collect and clean data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Conduct analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions by leveraging data science methods.

Collaborate to implement statistical modelling and machine learning solutions that integrate with existing systems and processes.

Support on the generation of actionable insights using machine learning models by working with data from multiple data sources.

Assist the Data Science team to manage the portfolio of data science solutions.

Assist with ad-hoc data science requests and projects as needed.

We would love to hear from you if

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or business.

Passionate about data and analyzing data or previous internship or work experience in a data-related field – including experience in data science and analysis (advantageous).

Knowledge in ML, time series or deep learning algorithms for regression, classification, forecasting or clustering problems.

Familiarity with natural language processing techniques and Generative AI.

Good knowledge in Python/R and SQL programming.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Fluent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English.
